The Schrepel family began to farm in Gaston in 1919. Oliver Schrepel and his son Keith eventually purchased a site near Yamhill and built a cannery in the days when commercially pitted cherries were a rarity in Oregon.
Generations later, our farm produced both tart and sweet cherries, plums, hazelnuts, and wine grapes.
During operations, Fruithill used onsite freezer storage, IQF freezing capabilities, multiple production lines, and warehouse storage.
